The True King of the Jungle
Acrylic on canvas, 30 × 50 cm. Exhibited at The Holy Art Gallery, London, 2023.
My name is Alessia Albu, I was born in 2007 and I studied in Bârlad, at the “George Tutoveanu” secondary school, until the 6th grade. From the 7th grade, i.e. starting with the 2020–2021 school year, I took the exam at The International Computer High School of Bucharest (ICHB), so I moved to Bucharest.
I studied martial arts, handball, basketball, gymnastics, tennis, karting, acting, painting, ballet, singing, piano, and I played in football championships.
Every step, in the order it happened: the contests, the stages, the canvases and the medals.

In May 2024, my team and I traveled to Tirana, Albania, to compete in the Stars of Turkish Language (Türkçenin Yıldızları) contest. We participated in the dance category, delivering a performance that earned us 2nd place. This achievement was a testament to our hard work, dedication, and passion for the art of dance.
From October 4th to 14th, we had the incredible opportunity to perform at the International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC) in Houston, Texas. This global event brought together talented individuals from around the world, fostering cultural exchange and unity through artistic expression. Our performance was inspired by Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons”, capturing the essence and beauty of Summer, Spring, Autumn, and Winter through movement and storytelling.
Following the success of our show in Houston, the IFLC tour continued in Bucharest, Romania, on November 23rd. Featuring the same “Four Seasons” theme, our performance once again celebrated the harmony between music and dance, bringing the magic of the seasons to life on stage. This event provided us with another incredible opportunity to connect with international artists, share our passion for dance, and experience the vibrant cultural atmosphere of Bucharest. Performing in front of a new audience, we aimed to evoke the emotions and beauty of nature through our movements, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who attended.
